BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Stephen D. Iversen DC, is a graduate of Los Angeles College of Chiropractic Whittier, California, where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He is certified in Active Release Techniques (ART), Thompson Drop Technique, Cold Laser use, Kinesio Taping and Myofascial Release. Dr. Iversen also has extensive knowlede in Physical Therapy modalities, Rehabilitation of the Spine and multiple Traction techniques. His prior athletic experience as a tight end in college and self rehabilitation from many severe injuries has led to his current patient treatment plans. Dr. Iversen excells at conservative treatment for cervical and lumbar disc cases, extremity sports injuries and neck/ mid /low back injuries which are benefited by his formal education in Biomechanics/ Kinesiology coupled with nearly two decades of experience in chiropractic. He has served as an ART staff Chiropractor at multiple IRONMAN triathalons including Kona, Hawaii in 2004. Dr. Iversen also has extensive knowledge and experience treating patients involved in work related injuries as well as motor vehicle accidents. Through his vast experience, Dr. Iversen has emerged as a leading expert in his field.
